Collection Notes: This specimen is found in Pace Bend Park, Travis County Texas. It is located in the Day use only area via the paved road leading into Mudd Cove. Follow the newly paved road into Mudd cove, circle around Swim area toward Mesquite Point. follow paved road until it ends at the round about at the chain locked gate. Travel to your right down the unmarked road to the lake shore parallel to the signage delineating the \"Day Use Only\" area on left. Travel as far as site conditions allow. Exit vehicle and travel about 100 yards NNE into the area looking towards the upper shoreline near Hagwood Cove. Multiple specimens can be seen here ranging in size from multiple trunks to numerous new plants emerging from the sandy well drained soil. Pace Bend Park Authorities have been unofficially notified via phone and are planning a visit to the area.
