Collection Notes: CAUTION There was a pak of at least 4 dogs between where I observed this invader, and the fence of the apartment complex immediately west of trail. One dog rushed out of the brush barking, and 3 others came out and followed when I retreated. Due to humans dumping hundreds of d.large dogs along San Antonio River every year, and inadequate Animal Care Services, dog packs may be present along any trail or in any park in urban San Antonio. Always exercise caution and be prepared as well as possible to deter attacking dogs in the urban area.
